Come and join the Young Editors and Heritage Craftisans of Redbricks School over a summer weekend at Crossword (Outdoor Space), Mondeal Retail Park on S.G Highway. 

The middle school students of Redbricks School, under their initiative - Redbricks Changemakers,  present a Community Exhibit and Market as a culmination of their semester-long projects.

On display and Silent Auction will be exquisite Heritage Craft artifacts, created by students with great love and perfection, under the expert tutelage of artisans from SEWA. They have learnt and used diverse Embroidery techniques such as 'Aari' 'cross stitch', 'faat work', 'pinchi tanko', 'amdo tanko' and 'abhla tanko,' in creating their final products.   

Also on the cards is the launch of "The Changemaker" – a newspaper conceived, designed, developed and published by students. The objective of "The Changemaker" is to spread a message of bringing about positive change within our communities through small and large initiatives and actions. Captured between the pages are stories, interviews, opinion pieces, quizzes, puzzles and more…all revolving around the central theme of "Change."

The highlight of the event is a "Silent Auction" of heritage craft pieces produced by the students and a stall of products created by SEWA Artisans. All proceeds collected will be contributed to SEWA for the welfare of Artisans and for promoting our heritage crafts.
